About the Hotel

"La Casona de Éboli" is a hotel full of originality and charm, situated in the village of Santorcaz, which is the last village within the community of Madrid.

You'll find it some 12 Km (8 miles) from Alcalá de Henares and 30 Km (18 miles) from Guadalajara.

You could say that it's a stones throw from the basin of the Henares to the Alcarria.

   

This little village, around 500 neighbours, is one of the oldest of Madrid's Community according to latest archeological findings currently being evaluated.

In the dungeons of its castle, which dates back to the XI century, Cardinal Cisneros and the Princess of Éboli were once imprisoned .

At the present time parts of the towers and its wall are the only remaining parts; but next to this you'll find the impressive Church of San Torcuato, of the XII century, and perfectly restored.
